LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator)

Low Frequency Oscillator. An oscillator used for modulation whose frequency is below the audible range of human hearing (20 Hz). Example: Varying pitch (frequency) with an LFO produces VIBRATO. Varying volume (amplitude) with an LFO produces TREMOLO.
